چکیده
The residual stress and surface roughness enhancement of ground surfaces can decrease the lifetime workpiece by reducing its fatigue life. It is critical to accurately predict minimize toughness in order enhance efficiency part production using grinding operations. A virtual machining system developed research work integrity during operations Inconel 718. cutting temperature calculated alloy Johnson–Cook law models. Then, finite element method, operation estimated. Utilizing established predicted study. Using Taguchi optimization approach, parameters depth cut feed velocity are optimized reduce as well throughout on 718 superalloy. To confirm effectiveness technique study, simulation experimentation conducted. As a result, quality reliability be enhanced study produced parts

Ultrasonic assisted creep feed grinding of Inconel 718
The paper details the effects of depth of cut and vibration amplitude when ultrasonic assisted (US) creep feed grinding Inconel 718 with an open structured alumina based wheel. The workpiece was actuated at a constant frequency (~20.5kHz) via a block sonotrode attached to a 1kW piezoelectric transducer-generator system. A full factorial experimental array comprising 12 tests was conducted invol...
